I think Las Vegas weddings fill a big niche in the wedding marketplace.
And they do not have to be a tacky affair at all.The nice hotels do wonderful catered affairs that put the luxe hotels in other big cities to shame.

But I do remember one wedding party I observed a some years back.The wedding "reception"was held at the $2 buffet of Silver City casino-what a way to start a life together.

I find many of the obnoxious high spend weddings much tackier actually-hate them!
