Actually aware of the 1 AB rule- wife actually has the new aircraft both ways LAX/DUB in mid June/Mid July
I waas able to tell her in advance that she was on the new aircraft- she said it is a definite improvement.

Seemed to me that the first of the 2 new aircraft was flying every2nd day on the LAX route, but with washington coming on stream and SFO later theis year, the odds are going to go down

I gues the key here is to know if the -302 actually has the extra tanks as I don't see EI doing weight restrictions on the LAx route, but I gues since the -300 actallu comes with extra seats, they could simply flying with the 50 of so less seats and not inconvenience folks too much.
