I just wanted to inform you that Stuttgart Airport (STR) ist renewing its Terminal 1, where you can find all Lufthansa check-in counters. They are still in Terminal 1, but on the other side of the Terminal (former British Airways counters); I think their counters will be there for many weeks; nevertheless you should find everything you need - FIRST, BUSINESS, ECONOMY; Information/ticket counter is at its old place.
