I get as frustrated as you do.
Very annoying as I find the mileage you need for redemptions flights on this route is fantastic value, but have become almost impossible to get a seat when you want one.

Seats do open up however days before the travel dates, but obviously not guaranteed, and if you can’t be flexible that doesn’t really help you.
