The only "Shanghai Hotel" I know about is the one near the Hilton that is attached to the Jing'an Hotel. That location is hard to beat IMO. Be warned though, some of their rooms are fine while some of them are really small (try to avoid booking the latter).
The Park Hotel is close to People's Square (IIRC), which is a negative as far as I'm concerned. Much depends on what you want to do in Shanghai.
