Maybe a dumb question, but this is the first time I'm getting an upgrade on miles, so I'm not sure how this works.
I ordered an Upgrade from Y to C for FRA-IAH in a couple of weeks on miles. Talking to the MP phoneline, I assumed that I would be put on a waitlist and would only actually get the upgrade if C turns out to not be fully booked. Now I saw on united.com that the miles have already been deducted. Does this in some way indicate that my upgrade is actually already cleared?
