If you have no LH status yet, then you will earn 14774 miles for SIN-FRA-DUB. These miles will also count as HON miles as long as all flights are on LH metal. The return will net you the same amount of miles.
Once you qualify for FTL status, you will earn a 25% Executive Bonus on LH flights. That will bring your mileage earning for SIN-FRA-DUB up to 16871 each way.
In practice, this would mean you would have to fly SIN-FRA-DUB-FRA-SIN 18 times within two calendar years (e.g. 2008 and 2009) to reach the 600K miles on LH/LX/OS/LO metal to reach HON.
With the travel you're describing, it's not going to happen. SEN is well within your reach, but HON is a completely different level of play.

Your first trip will net you just over 45K miles. Since you'll qualify for FTL on your FRA-SIN flight, you will not earn any executive bonii on this itinerary (you don't get the bonus for the flight on which you make it, only flights after you make it). The first flight which would theoretically be eligible for a bonus is SIN-BNE, but since that's operated by SQ, there will be no bonus.
On later trips, you will earn just a hair under 50K miles for each rountrip BNE-DUB. Two of these, plus a little side trip somewhere (within Europe, or from BNE to New Zealand, or from SIN to BKK or whatever), and you'll easily requalify for SEN once you've reached it.
In terms of qualifying for SEN this year, you'll need to fly back and forth to Ireland twice before the year is out. Plus something else, because you'll end up around 95K miles - 5000 miles short. I would recommend finding an excuse for flying a business class return to a European destination from Ireland (i.e. DUB-FRA-PRG-FRA-DUB, for example), which will give you the extra miles you need.

Are you confident that bmi will still be around in 10 years? I'm not. And besides, even if bmi is still around in 10 years, will they exist beyond that time frame so that you actually get to reap the benefits of your lifetime status after qualifying for it?

Of course, the burn rates on BD are more attractive. Sometimes, so are the earn rates. For me, it's all about the level of customer service you get from LH vs. BD (comparing call centres, for example) that tips the balance slightly in favour of LH.
