ok so the biggest disadvantage for me is that im in AUS lol ok ok i c i c

now what i need to determine is how many miles i will earn for HON, from SIN - FRA - DUB return

i will be flying this on LH since SQ is not only losing money from me due to the new PPS pogram but the fact that sq was not able to reach an interline agreement with LH this year to continue me to book the bne - dub route connecting with LH from fra - so since sq cant do this for me on one ticket the easiest choice is then to book it on a LH ticket and fly SQ on the BNE - SIN segment

- so my first trip to start all this off is leaving brizzie on the 14 august - coming bak in week or 2 - that will give me 47 000 miles ish (thx kiwi flyer for that much appreciated) but obviously a chunk of that does not count towards HON - my next flight is penned in for September - and coming bak date in December - However i leave again around the 30th decemeber - which brings me to the next point - thx to this forum (and alex..... lol on SQtalk) that if i do the qualification right i can gain senator for three years - so i would like to somehow work that out i.e - dont post the return leg coming in decemeber to LH and only do it when i leave just before the new year????

in regards to the question bout BD life program in essence u do need 10 years - but 10 qualifcation years - i called their marketing team up and was reassured this - hence a total of 380 000 miles - so any of you guys who wanna confirm up the life status for Star Gold and fly alot theres your chance and a very economical one at that.

The whole reason im looking into either HON / BD GOLD im looking for a frequent flyer program that values loyalty for YOUR dollars you spend *cough* Sq *cough* - i know many people who arent meagre PPS members but solitares including family who have gone out of their way to fly SQ and give them their OWN hard earned dollar but to now be awarded the same on ground priveleges when flying J for the 50th time to someone for the first time. Ridiculous.

p.s do u guys believe that the redeeming miles needed are at a good level - i mean thats the only stickler comapring BD and M M if you guys rekon it is im very close to being sold
