We visited Auckland last year (Oct), and I was disappointed there wasn't a Starwood property there yet. Actually walked into the Hilton, which is nice, juts out into the Harbor, and I was thrilled to learn that there was going to be a new Westin!!

I'll bring this map, and if we get a bad cabbie, will tell him to drive toward the Hilton and we can vector in from there.

I also plan on calling the hotel and asking if they plan on having an airport shuttle.

I am looking forward to the small(er) sized hotel, the lounge, the Maori theme, and staying in a new hotel. Will post on here and Trip Advisor after the stay. Centurion, if the stay stunk that badly, write up a report on tripadvisor! there's only 1 review on there right now...
