I am considering a job in Fort McMurray, but I won't want to spend my weekends there. The fight timings from YMM to YVR and vice-versa just plain suck, however. Getting into YVR for Friday evening is possible, but I'd have to leave work a few hours early to do so. Getting back, on the other hand, really stinks: a 6:00 a.m. departure from YVR on AC, connecting to QK in YEG for an arrival a little after 11:00 a.m. on the Monday morning.

Does AC have any plans for a direct, non-stop service between YMM and YVR? I wonder if there would be enough demand....
