I just called Delta since I flew my first half of my iten and got my 25k. I called asking about status since I have a return flight with empty F seats. I knew maybe getting an upgrade was slim, but hey you never know if you get a nice agent.

After reading the "When is Medallion Elite Status Effective? The Definitive Thread" and reading the Medallion Benefits PDF on Delta.com I was under the understanding that when you hit 25k, congrats, you've got Silver. But I was told my 25k that I flew this year only qualified me for Silver status for 2008?

Her first day or am I really misunderstanding the rules?
