I am liking this new systyem day by day (at least for us early bird planners).

I just priced a J ticket from LAX/BOM on CX (specifically) and got the following results:

LAX-HKG-BKK-BOM for 6995.00/each person.....^^^

Of course this was approx 9 months out !!!

I then did BA (specifically) and got the fare for approx 5777.60 per person in J on the same dates from DFW-LHR-BOM ^^^

So this could work out good for some and not good for some ( the late planners).....
