What Seville is
really noted for is its people. Going for tapas, dancing with strangers (whether you can do 'Sevillanas' or not, doesn't matter), if you're a social beast who readily cracks a smile then Seville has an awful lot going for it. This city is known throughout Spain for having the warmest and friendliest inhabitants. I certainly understand why.
And Seville is probably one of the best places in the world (if not the best) to find out what futbol is all about. Whether you pick Sevilla or Real Betis (the 2nd team might be a little easier to get tickets for) the atmosphere at these games is extraordinary, electric.
Going further on Seville's sparkling social identity, to see this area truly shine try and coincide a visit with a fiesta (although I wouldn't advise coming for the Easter Feria
unless you have good friends there... it's kind of too big and can be impenetrable to visitors).
