I've become jaded about miles and airlines. However, I still enjoy taking a flight on a new or less common type of plane.

Nowadays, it's Boeing and Airbus. I remember the days of oddities like the One Eleven, BAe146, Fokker 28, DC-9-10, Lockheed L1011, etc. Too bad I missed the Mercure, Concorde, VFW Fokker 614 (a rarity!), Convair 880, VC-10, and Trident.
