VX arrives in Terminal A, and UA (Intl) operates from Terminal G. They are separated by a ginormous hallway and checkin facility, so no need for trains unless you arrive on legacy carriers in the domestic T1 and T3 terminals.
If you have time to kill, check out the aviation museum near the A security area in the back. There are also nice food options in the main hall outside security. Or ride the train around the Red loop and look at the pretty aircraft...
