Unknown? Definitely not ticketed, but I've never had "unknown" reflected on my online reso AFAIK. You could wait until someone more knowledgeable comes along in this thread, but you could also call... AA Web Services can be very helpful in my experience. But, read on before you feel you need to call:
see yul2005:"When my travel agent puts a reservation on hold, it always shows up as Status: unknown. Only time I ever see it."
see KIR@GCM: "AA.com will usually display "Unknown" when your ticket has been purchased through a travel agent. A quick phone call to a real AAgent should give you the actual status."
