UA's new J looks very nice. Shame it probably will not be on my Dec/Jan SFO-SYD flight .

I think this hurts AA more than CO, as AA has already rolled out its new J, which, from the looks of things, appears vastly inferior to UA's. However, I do wonder if CO intends to roll-out its new BF concept before 787 rollout. At one time, waiting for the 787 made the most sense. However, 2009 is looking quite remote as a starting point for BF redesign at this point. By then, NW, DL, UA & AA will all have either comparable or far-superior products onboard for long-haul services.

Does CO really want to spend a year or more at the bottom of the barrel for a BF hard-product? Granted, it will still be better than US, but I doubt that's the level CO wishes to compete at.

Does anyone know what the heavy-maintenance (C or D checks) schedule is for the 777s and 764s? If they are scheduled for next year sometime, it would make sense to roll out the new BF (assuming the hard-product is ready for installation).
