Aren't there Gold lounges now? I know it's only MEL & SYD, but it's a start.
You'll probably never see paid membership abolished, unless the QF market broadens a
lot, which I doubt will happen quickly (after all, aren't we the world's worst international airline?). I'm not a QP member so I wouldn't know better how crowded they could be - hopefully we aren't talking about a post-5pm bar down the road kind of affair, right?

Aren't there legislative restrictions on serving alcohol at certain times, or for a certain length of time? Or the license required to do so would involve so and so too much?
I really don't know what benefits I'd like to see. After all, I'm just a NB. The stuff in this topic covers a lot of ground already.
