Even with the old 500 miles mileage it would have been dumb not to consider other carriers Then again for my personal MUC->northern Germany trips I've always managed to get 99EUR fares on LH, and even if AB had slightly lower fares I tend to go with LH because I've got some many problems with AB in the past. It's a pity dba doesn't exist anymore (almost), I always had great experiences with that airline.
