We arrived three hours late but we were the only plane from EZE to the US that did not turn around. All flights down had to turn around as well. Great Crew!
Does the Crew get extra compensation for going over time?
I ask because getting the aircraft to IAD (even 3 hours late) is GREAT for UA because:
1) UA doesn't need to cancel flights due to lack of equipment
2) The 763 can continue to fly and earn revenue for the company rather than being stuck somewhere
3) Saves UA money for not having to deal with rebooking a plane load of passengers due to an unexpected RON somewhere or a turnaround back to EZE.
