Our pilot did express some concern to ATC on approach re: the weather at the field and if he should continue his approach. I guess he saw storm cells on his displays, but was reassured that conditions were acceptable. There were six ~ seven arrivals in our queue and none seemed to be expressing any concerns.
I guess maybe he experience something like speed loss on approach. I flew into NRT this year and the plane ahead of us reported 20 knots speed loss, and was asking tower about wind shear. The landing was an extremely bumpy one though, but our pilot sounded confident about the landing. This was on UA, and channel 9 told me all these.

and to put into context, none of the flights i have been on TG in recent months which are equipped with nose cameras (346 and 345s) had them running.

i think it stopped after that hard landing in Melbourne.. but if they don't want to show the live camera - they should also remove it from the options in AVOD.
Also, the hard landing in MEL was on the A346 right? I wonder why remove the cam just because of a hard landing.
