I should add that the good flight crews do the following with their resources:
Hot towel before meal
Pre-meal drink
Meal order taken at seat, and plated in the galley (not from the cart)w/ warmed roll
Extra ice, drinks etc...
Dessert served separately
After meal coffee/drink service
Second drink service from cart.
