Hmm. I am a regular guest at both the IC and the Oriental and I cannot conceive of rating the IC higher than the Oriental. The only thing the IC has going for it is the neighborhood. I also am a Royal Ambassador so the upgrades and free minibar are nice, but I also get upgrades at the Oriental with FHR, plus one free night per year. And the rooms, the Club, the restaurants and the service are far, far, far better at the Oriental.

The IC is certainly improving, starting a year ago. But it is still a league below the Oriental.
