Roo tail-lift?

SMH clearly has other rumour-mongering sites than FT as sources.
Who would like to elaborate on any changes to the kangaroo design on QF aircraft tails, as Qantas tries to reinvent itself post-fiasco?

Facelift for Flying Kangaroo
The Flying Kangaroo, well known around the world as the logo for Australian carrier Qantas, could be in for a facelift as the airline reviews its future following a failed takeover.

The white marsupial adorning the red tails of Qantas planes might be revamped or "modernised", according to speculation swirling among staff writing on industry Web sites and in chatrooms.

Whether Qantas is planning to jettison the iconic 'Roo altogether or bring back the wings the image sported on its original design was unclear.
