By Club Marquis do you mean Marriott Marquis member? When I originally joined, it was called "Marriott Marquis Platinum" though I have not heard that "Marquis" reference in years. I have long wondered what happened to Marriott Marquis references.

I have never heard of Courtyard Club, but then it makes sense, because when I started, only nights at Marriott FS counted towards Marriott Black (now Silver), Gold, and Platinum. Fairfield, Courtyard, Townplace, Springhill, etc. did not count for roomnight credit, though I do not remember whether they counted for points or not.

I guess I need to call up and find out how many points, nights, and years I have lifetime, don't I? I am pretty sure I have almost 1,000 nights lifetime, and coming close to 10 years at least, did not know about the point requirement too, is it 3,000,000? WOW! Another question for me to ask, I am sure I have somewhere over 2,000,000, but looks like I might have my work cut out for me!
