Fare war inevitable. Then again, if VX fills up quickly I think we should expect both Y & F to increase (current fares could be interpreted as poromotional launch fares).

I don't think VX will be enough of a competitor to a legacy carrier like CO both because of lack of capacity and airline alliance for CO to initiate its own fare war if VX fares increase sufficiently.
