Been upgraded to F before and I have flown the new-new CW. Personally, I don't think F is worth an extra 50k miles, unless you have plenty - save them for a MFU. And I disagree that it is better to experience F during the day. The CW seat is plenty comfy for lounging, and if it is new-new CW, then the IFE really makes the time fly. IMHO, the big benefit to F is the much more comfortable bed, as well as the calmer environment at night. However, given that my advice differs from so many others, you can take it with a grain of salt if you'd like.
My last experience in CW (from SFO), the nice lady took my BP at boarding, scrawled out my upper deck seat, and put down 1A. As they didn't do the same for the wife, I was left scrambling to try to sit next to her for the flight. Didn't take much to convince the gentleman seated next to her to switch...
