East SFO Bay area, CA:
Nation's Giant Hamburgers
Great burgers, great frys, and great pie!

Los Angeles, CA:
Pink's Hotdogs
While you can fight about which are LA's best burgers, Pink's has the best dogs bar none.

Philippes
Home of the french dip sandwich, and continuously serving them since 1908. (and yes, Coffee is still 10 cents!)

San Diego, CA:
_____berto's.
Yes, there's Humberto's, Alberto's, Roberto's, and a host of other Mexican Taco Shops ending in the same magic letters (and occasional numbers to disntiguish themselves from the one down the block) scattered across town selling food out of drive-through windows. I've never eaten at a bad one.

The Chicken Pie Shop
Traditional comfort food for the masses. This eatery founded in 1938 still serves full meals for $6 and under!

Wichita, KS:
NuWay Cafe:
The home of crumbly burgers, garlic salad, great onion rings, home made root beer, and hand squeezed limeade!
