When we were notified about WebMiles ending I redeemed m points for a fully refundable ticket on Southwest with the intent of changing it. When I called Southwest to change the ticket they told me I couldn't because WebMiles used their AMEX account to purchase the ticket. My credit card wasn't used, even though I paid the $69.00 addition to the fare. I'm planning on going down to LAX and see if they'll make an exception when I explain WebMiles is out of business.
