Fastest to JR Osaka Stn at Umeda should be to go back up to JR Kyoto Stn. from Ogura Stn., then take the JR Osaka Line ShinKaiSoku service. This is the train with orange and green paint scheme.

BDL was my home airport too once upon a time.
