FTs, IHTs, El Pais (English eddition), some other european paper - english eddition, and I *think* possibly some Telegraphs!
Also the standard international englsh language magazines.

Regarding food, as a vegetairan what annoyed me was that NONE of sandwiches were veggie, and further when I asked I was laughed at! I didn't think that was terribly appropriate for the non-schengen (therefore certainly quite international) terminal of what is supposedly a major world airport in the making.

They did have some cheese rolls in sealed plastic bags, and although they had picked up a lot of the taste of their wrapper they were certainly sufficient to keep me going with some peanuts as well (plus a good range of drinks).

They real joke about the rolls is that I reckon they are the same ones Iberia try and charge ecconomy passengers 8 EUR (or something) for!

In fact quite a lot of stuff in the louge seemed to be made from onboard stuff. The toilets had trays of referesing wipes etc that were clearly prepared for short and longhaul inflight.
