Last Monday from ORD-IAH and today from IAH-ORD, they worked just fine on the 752, except that I couldn't adjust the brightness level on either. This is such an improvement from the systems on the 777/767. Those seem to have some problem on each flight.
As an aside, I did dodge a bullet today. I was originally seated in 4F when I booked my flight, but when I checked in, I grabbed 2A. When I got on the plane, the mechanics were working on 4F and didn't get it fixed, so we went out with it empty. I'm not sure what would have happened if I had checked in and kept 4F.
