and just to further underscore how much better of an experience i had on SQ than TG, i'll add that my flight from bkk-lax on TG was switched to the A346, and b/c they don't sell FC on the route it's first come, first serve for the F seats for any pax who's flying in biz (i called reservations immediately upon finding out about the a/c change to snag a seat)
