Not sure which type of 747 it was, but not so long ago flew F from HKG - to BKK. Was the only pax in F with two FAs to myself. Marvellous champagne and caviar (unlimited quantities) BUT it was a VERY old plane and neither the IFE nor the reading lights worked anwhere in the F cabin. They knew of the problem already but had not got round to fixing it ...

Best was the lady in white waiting for me at BKK to escort me personally the quick way to the lounge and make arrangements for my connecting flight. Very personal service.
