I just have to bring that topic up again as I just noticed that our flight SYD-AKL in June used to be on a 744 and is NOW showing as 747 on the Thai website. That would be really great if that's true. For some reason our previous seat allocation has also disappeared from checkmytrip.com, so it looks as if TG is brining in more new 747s on that route. They now show three weekly flights using the 747, I think a few weeks ago there was only one flight per week in a 747...Does anyone know whether that's true?
