Thanks for the advise, all. I've heard such good reviews of the Conrad, I thought we'd give that a try. Arrive at midnight in BKK at depart at 9am for HKT. Rate at the Conrad is USD78...seems like a great deal given all the high praises this property has received on FT. The taxi will be painful in the morning, but it is a Saturday.

I'll post full trip report of our adventures (UA and TG in F and J to HKT from DEN, Conrad, JW Marriott Phuket, Rayavadee, Marriott Riverside will all be included in the report) when we return in mid March.</font>
I can't wait to hear about this report. I'm planning a similiar trip this summer with the JW, Conrad and UA F to BKK, and then whatever I choose to HKT.
