All these prices I just confirmed for this season:

(06:35-11:41) From Oslo to Myrdal on the 06:35 AM train for 199 NOK (minipris). It didn't give me any option to select my seats or pay extra for upgrade - but it just assigned them automatically. (Book Advance) http://www.nsb.no/internet/en/index.jhtml

(17:45-19:05) Bus from Gudvangen to Voss is 75 NOK each.
(19:20-20:34) Getting back on the train from Voss to Bergen is 153 NOK each.

So, total is 832 NOK (approximately $146 each with today's USD exchange).

If we had bought the package, it was going to be 1165 NOK (appx $203.50 each).

Don't know if the savings will be worth the trouble, but we shall see!!!
