Only other option I see is get another quick 20k miles into US Airways and bring the total upto 140k. I can do that by applying for a credit ard. THen I can get two economy (:-() class tkts for 140k miles from SAN to hawaii. I know I know, its a sin, and I hate it too:-)

I just want to burn the US airways miles & be done with it. I hate their customer service.

I checked their online award seats availability for multiple destinations. They just seem to have nothing available to any decent destinations in the world! unless of course you fork out double the miles for the same economy class tkt.
I feel the same way about Delta, but I'm not going to waste my hard earned miles. I had been lugging 300,000 Delta miles around for 5 years trying to find Saver seats to someplace decent with no luck as I refused to pay double. Everytime we wanted to go someplace I'd check Delta first and when I don't find availability I'd check Skyteam (which sucks, in my opinion) and then other airlines. I finally found 2 saver seats on Continental (a Skyteam partner) to Panama this Thanksgiving and was able to burn 70,000 of them. But, my point is, be patient and don't waste them. As much as I hate Delta, I'm not going to just hand the miles back to them and you shouldn't either where US is concerned, regardless of how you feel right now.
