Therefore, this time we have decided to try the daytime service form MIA to South America offered by Copa. We understand that the configuration is not much different from CO domestic first class, but the seats are very easy to get with OnePass miles as awards or upgrades and a kicker is that the elite free upgrades are available the same as on domestic CO flights. The only other kicker is that there is a change in PTY, but all have told us that this is completely painless. There are a few reports on this service, especially one from Canarsie (I believe in this thread) that have given it very good grades (and talk about arriving fresh).
if you are willing to make a stop why not stick to night flight ( and get some sleep) by taking aa mia to dfw or jfk then eze for new seats. Less painful going at night than daytime via pty
