MLL is available for *G members as long as you fly *A metal - pretty nice. Main time issue is going through US customs and immigration as I find security pretty quick at YVR in most cases (even the general line). Unless you are flight crew or a diplomat, you join the general line. Sometimes it is quick, sometimes not. I understand why they don't have a US citizen only line given it is in a foreign country.
