Powder is no problem, if you have liquid in the baby bottles (including water) then they make you taste it.

They sometimes give you grief about baby medicine (ie, Medised in a 200 ml bottle), but I just tell them it's a sedative so therefore essential for the flight.

How much grief they give you varies according to what mood they are in. Sometimes I have been ordered to wake the two sleeping children out of the pram for x-ray, other times they just wave you through with a quick visual inspection.
