Onefreeman, yes everyone is welcome to choose the hotel of their preference as there is no "host" hotel as such. Most of our get togethers will be in the Waikiki area making them easy to get to from any Waikiki hotel. For those who have never been, we'll be making some suggestions with price ranges very soon.
