I have an American Airlines frequent flier account but I don't have so many miles that it would sway my choice of carrier for this trip. I would like to get a good rest on the overnight flight down so that I don't lose a day recovering in Buenos Aires. I have only a few days there and it would be costly to be dozing in my hotel room.

I have heard good things about LAN but I am still not sure whether the direct flight on LAN down to EZE is better or the direct flight on AA is better. It seems that the answer largely depends on whether the LAN direct flight has the New Premium Business Class that the carrier has been touting. Unfortunately, my two calls to LAN could not provide any clarification. Some of the reports like the one rrgg provided indicate the answer is no.

If anyone has ridden in the new premium business class on LAN to EZE, I would love to hear what route you took. Thanks.
