Last fall DEN stopped using those orange tags. When I asked the contract employee about it (non-UA) he said it still says "Priority" and sure enough it was printed on the tag. However, when I got to Asia the bags received no priority treatment, coming out late in flight's baggage stream. I know in the U.S. the orange tags were pretty much useless, but in Asia it seemed to help. Has anyone else noticed priority bags without the orange tag getting the non-priority treatment overseas?
The orange tag is a way for all *A carriers to identify their bags, not sure why DEN would decide not to use them on their own. Anyone else experience this or was it an individual or doesn't get the larger picture associated with the tags?
