I saw this config. recently onboard and was chatting to the crew about it and their reaction seemed to be one of unified bewilderment. I find more and more when I chat to the crew on BA flights that they talk about the 'management' in disengaged terms, i.e. 'to be honest we haven't got a clue what they are up to most of the time'...
