Whatever you do, for your own sake, please do not fly US to Hawaii. They use poorly maintained 757's. I flew one of the "Hawaii 757's" from ORD-PHX and I was shocked how crappy it was. My first class seat was broken and would slowly recline without pushing the recline button and if I sat up the seat would automatically spring forward. There have also been reports of mechanical issues with these planes. Yes, every plane has mechanical issues, but I have heard of more problems from these planes including several engine issues on takeoff.
