Take the airport bus from EWR to Manhattan (Park Avenue and 42nd Street). Then, walk into Grand Central Terminal and take the railroad (NOT the subway) to Scarsdale. The subway only operates within the City of New York; Scarsdale is in Westchester County, outside of NYC. The train you will take is operated by Metro North Railroad.
