1. SuperShuttle shared van, RT $61.
2. NJ Transit, EWR Airlink to Morris Plains Station, $16.75, Livery cab from Morris Plains Station to my destination in Parsippany, $10.00 negotiated. RT $53.50.
I did #2 just for the scenery, btw. Up until that day, I never ever experienced an Amtrak Acela roar past me full speed on track 5 in the Upper Seacaucus Junction station!
I live in Monroe Township, NJ 08831, Exit 8A on the NJ Turnpike. I tried the Super Shuttle site and they do not service this area or the East Brunswick area. If I drive to the train not only would take a long time,I would still have to pay to park my car at the station. Limos are around $100 plus taxes, tolls and tips. Sometimes that is nearly the cost of the plane fare. We often fly very early in the morning which necessitates taking the car into to the airport and leaving it there for days on end-- and lots of $$. There are no rental agencies near me since this area has no real business at all. Any other ideas or am I stuck with the airport parking? We are leisure travelers and the days of expensing it are long over!!
