To the OP if it's the cheapest property by all means go for it.
Search the threads; I think you'll find that RAs generally like the treatment they get, but others have had varied experiences; I think they tend to have tour groups and get overcrowded in the lobby once in a while.
I miss the old IC on Central Park but stay at the Barclay whenever possible. And if it's cheaper, go for it!
