Slightly off topic, but I am finding this year that I am booking SWA much more than ever. Partially for all the reasons that people who like SWA have already stated. But I really am convinced that I am less likely to be held hostage for long hours on the ground in a red-bellied-warbird in case of a bad weather/divert scenario. I think I may even let my AA Platinum status lapse. Other reasons include the fact that the HUD's on the airplanes give the warbirds more landing/takeoff capabilities than others.
Now if only they would take an older 300, park it at SWA Headquarters (The G.O.) and make all the out-of-touch HQ folks use it's lav's for an entire day....
